Hello Readers 👀,
Today I will be posting one of the most expected issues with the recently
launched Multiplayer Game - "Valorant".
There are a lot of threads and talks going in the gaming community regarding the infinite loading screen or we can say infinite screen freeze while matchmaking. This issue is noticed by more than 50% of the current
Valorant users and we by far know that the game is still in its beta development phase. So in order to pay some ease to the Valorant users, let's
get started with the official solution to this Infinite Screen Lagg or
Freeze issue.
Please follow the steps, I know that is a long one, but we need to find out
what will work for you and I believe it will be easy for you to follow them.
1) Since several things from Windows are unsigned, let's go ahead and fix
them up by doing a full check-up of your Windows. For this, first I suggest
that you use a DISM command to check for any corrupted files. Please follow
these steps:
· Use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the
Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).
· Type the following
command and press Enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
·
After the process completes type the following command and press Enter:
DISM
/Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
· Wait for the process to
complete.
Right after this, run a System File Checker command:
·
Enter the Start menu
· Type cmd and select Command Prompt
· While
in Command prompt, type the command sfc /scannow and press Enter
2) Go with a whitelist of both
VALORANT and Riot Vanguard on your antivirus & firewall. These are the file paths you need to add:
C:\Riot
Games\VALORANT\live\VALORANT.exe
C:\Program Files\Riot
Vanguard\vgc.exe
C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe
3) Let's ensure that your system is in a trusted, Windows secure
state so run the following commands in the Command Prompt:
· Enter the
Start menu
· Type cmd and select Command Prompt
· Right-click on
it and select ""Run as admin.
· While in Command Prompts, type the
following two commands:
bcdedit.exe /set testsigning off
bcdedit.exe
/set nointegritychecks off
4) In order to make sure that no other apps are running and
interfering with VALORANT or Vanguard, let's try to do a clean boot. But
make sure to take these specific steps from below, in order to prevent the
processes related to Vanguard to get blocked.
· Press [Windows Key] +
R
· Type msconfig into the text bar at the bottom of the menu
·
Click on the Services tab
· Check Hide all Microsoft services <---
Super important! Protects you from accidentally disabling a key process!
·
Click the Disable All button
· Find vcg and re-check that one. This is
required for VALORANT
· Click on the Startup tab (Note: Windows 10 has
you go to a Task Manager Tab, which has no disable all button. Disable the
ones you see there manually)
· Click on the Disable All button
·
Click on the Apply button
· Click on the OK button
· Restart your
computer
5) If you have other adapters open beside the one you're mainly using
and those ones actually siphon a lot of your bandwidth. To quickly get rid
of them, follow these steps:
· Open Network Sharing Center by Right
click on Network icon beside the clock.
· Click on Change adapter
Setting link in the right-side panel.
· Select the adapters that are
open (except the Ethernet/WiFi one)
· Right-click on them and select
Disable
Hope this helps you with the problem, but let me know if the issue remains. I will be waiting for your response!
